The Copenhagen Traveler is - and has always been - an ode to old-world glamour and hedonism. Hence, I immediately said yes when the chance of participating in the Marc Jacobs ‘Decadence’ campaign showed up. The word ‘decadence’ tells a story about wild nights, uncompromising style - and a perfume so lush, it will leave you both intrigued and mesmerized. Welcome to a world of decadence.

What is decadence?
The perfume, which is created by master perfumer Annie Buzantian, lives up to its name by presenting a luxurious and sensual scent with a hint of wood. Top notes are Italian plum, saffron and iris and after a couple of minutes on the skin, heart notes of Bulgarian rose and Arabian jasmine appear. It’s a rather powerful scent, which makes it absolutely perfect for evening use!
‘Decadence’ as presented in Morocco
According to the dictionary, ‘decadence’ is linked to moral decay - it’s the act of falling into an inferior condition. This fragrance represents this by being bold, seductive and stylish - a declaration of love to hedonists, who choose to live life to the fullest. I’m certainly tempted by this glamorous universe and I’m sure you’ll be too!
Designed as a classic Marc Jacobs handbag, ‘Decadence’ is a compliment to the aesthetics of the fashion house. Deep emerald, black python, a glittering gold chain and a black silk tassel completes the look and adds a glitzy finish to your outfit. A perfume or a handbag? Who cares in the dark of the night where anything can happen?
