We all know the importance of good skin care, but if you’re a frequent traveler it’s crucial to pay extra attention to skin hydrators and lasting products. Throughout the years I have gathered a few beauty favorites and recently a few more have been added to the list. Common to all of them is that they fit in my hand-luggage and are easy to use. Here’s my current top 7.
4: Phyris Termasomi Gel (multi-active hydrating gel), 57 ml.
This refreshing and oil-free gel is easy to apply, it absorbs quickly leaving your face fresh and smooth. It helps retain moisture for 30% longer, which is why it’s so perfect to bring on travels (and especially on longer flights!) Contains Thermal Liposomes and Vitamin E, which improves the skin’s moisture-binding capacity and elasticity.
2: Julie P - Microfiber Moisturizing Gel Care
Feet can get sore and tired after hours of walking and traveling. The solution? These super comfortable (and very soft) gel care socks from the Danish brand Julie P. Simply put them on when you have 20-30 minutes of spare time and your feet will thank you afterwards. Gently rinse in cold water after use.
3: Elizabeth Arden - Ceramide (Boosting 5 minute facial)
This kit is probably the easiest way to get a professional facial at home - or in this case, when traveling! The golden package contains 30 ml of self-foaming mask (step 1) and 15 ml of replenishing serum (step). It takes no more than 10 minutes in total, and skin feels instantly refreshed as well as smoother and firmer. Use 1-2 times per week.
4: Juicy Couture For Women, EdP, 50 ml.
Ever since I was a little girl I have loved perfumes in all shapes and sizes, and today I use my favorite fragrance as a travel companion wherever I go. Even though I have several of them, especially one has captured my heart this season. It’s from Juicy Couture and it truly reminds me of summer, cocktails and good times at the beach. Not to bad when it starts getting colder outside! Notes: watermelon, mandarin, pink passion fruit, marigold, green apple etc.
5: Babor - Skinovage Travel Set
There’s no way around travel sets and travel sizes if you want to travel both smart and light. It saves you a lot of time packing and worrying!

Bring the small yet very effective travel sizes in this pre-packed beauty case, and your skin will thank you. Contains a cleanser, moisturizer, eye cream and serum.
6: Elizabeth Arden - Flawless Future serum, 30 ml.
So far I have only traveled with samples of this genius product, but I’m already hooked! This delicate serum with caplet mini-beads provides a smooth and weightless finish and it reinforces skins natural moisture barrier. The serum reduces the appearance of early signs of aging. Apply on a clean face morning and evening.
7: Clarins - Delectable Self-Tanning Mousse SPF 15, 125 ml.
It feels like a whipped cream and smells like berries, but the best part? It’s a 3-in-1 product adding both moisturizer, self-tan and sun protection to your skin! The texture is ultra light and it’s very easy to apply. Perfect if you need a golden glow when traveling! Can be used for both face and body. (It’s too big to pass through check-in at the airport, but I usually bring a sample in a travel jar).
